Natural Bath & Hair Oil
Bath oils are nourishing botanical oils added to bath water to hydrate and nourish the skin. Often they are enhanced with fragrant essential oils to accompany one’s mood.
Each carrier oil is uniquely suited to a particular function. Lightweight oils such as grape seed and evening primrose are optimal in bath and hair oils, as they more readily disperse throughout water.
To use bath oil, pour one to two teaspoons into warm water and allow it to disperse for a moment before stepping in to the bath. The medley of oils in Aurum bath oil is highly nourishing and luxurious so it need not be used every day.
Aurum bath oil also makes a wonderful hair oil. Hair oils are similar to leave-in conditioners but they also hydrate the scalp while promoting healthy, shiny hair. Place several drops of hair oil onto a comb and run it through clean, dry hair. I usually place the comb about one inch down from the root and comb down through the ends. The oils will disperse throughout your hair from shaft to tip, leaving it silky and fragrant without feeling greasy.
Aurum bath and hair oil contains only the following all-natural ingredients:
- golden jojoba oil – a good carrier oil for essential oil fragrances and a fantastic skin moisturizer and dandruff preventative. Jojoba oil leaves hair healthy, shiny, and smooth;
- sweet almond oil – a cold-pressed oil that restores natural glow to dull skin and hair, containing 70% oleic acid (an omega-9 fatty acid);
- apricot kernel oil – a cold-pressed, highly emollient oil that is especially valuable for dehydrated and sensitive skin;
- grape seed oil – an oil containing about 65% linoleic acid (an omega-6 fatty acid), antioxidants, and phytonutrients. Grape seed oil regenerates damaged cells, detangles hair, and lends a glossy shine. It is quickly absorbed and highly penetrable;
- evening primrose oil – a sweet, delightful oil high in gamma-linolenic acid (a rare omega-6 fatty acid);
- and vitamin E oil – vegetable-based vitamin E filled with antioxidants that protect fatty acids from rancidity.
Aurum bath and hair oil is available in seven fragrances (included unscented).
Each variety comes in a 2 ounce cobalt blue sterilized glass dropper bottle that protects the fine oils from light. Aurum bath and hair oil is best kept refrigerated. Allow it to acclimate to room temperature and shake gently before using.
